Addiction Treatment Programs for Substance Abuse and Mental Health in CA

Outpatient Recovery With a Community Support Program

Stairway Resource Center’s 60 to 90-day intensive outpatient services take place in a community setting. Our compassionate team assists those with substance use disorder in making positive life changes while promoting good mental health and increasing their ability to maintain abstinence from drugs or alcohol.

Participants will connect with others recovering from substance use disorder who are also part of the community. This connection has proven to help individuals stay accountable to achieve better outcomes. These results surpass other addiction treatment programs, like residential treatment, that do not involve community support services.

Our multidisciplinary substance abuse treatment team uses structured addiction treatment programs. These are based on 12-Step recovery support principles that have proven medical and evidence-based modalities. When combined with safe and comfortable sober living housing and peer support, we believe we have one of the most unique and effective outpatient addiction treatment programs available to young people in need of care.

The 12-Step Program for Addiction

Why are we such big advocates for the Twelve Steps? Because it works!

Your Recovery Starts with a Simple Call:

(888) 450-2701

The American Society of Addiction Medicine states, “Twelve Step facilitation therapy is a tried-and-true proven approach.” There must be a reason that people still “work the steps” more than 80 years later, right?

Clients in our 12-Step program are encouraged to deconstruct the part of their egos they are willing to examine and rebuild the part of themselves they think needs to change for the better. Doing so helps encourage honesty, humility, acceptance, courage, compassion, forgiveness, and self-discipline – all of which are pathways to positive behavioral change and emotional well-being. Here at Stairway Resource Center, we host 12-Step meetings nightly at one of our sober living houses. 12-Step meetings are found almost anywhere. For that reason, everyone in the community will always be able to find the support when and where they need it. Meetings are held in community centers, churches, sober homes, and even online.

Nightly 12-Step meetings are always free, so there isn’t a concern about being able to afford this added layer of support.

Our Sober Community Welcomes You or a Loved One After Detox to Move Forward With Our Addiction Treatment Programs

We understand that cravings and withdrawal symptoms from opioid use disorder, alcohol use disorder, and other forms of drug abuse can be difficult to manage. Our mental health professionals are committed to advocating for individuals who are affected by substance abuse. We understand there is a strong link between drug abuse and co-occurring mental health conditions. A dual diagnosis can feel overwhelming. However, our expert team of professionals provides mental health treatment and ensures resources are available in the community. Our services support those who have experienced the “throes of addiction” but also have struggled with physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional challenges.

Many individuals have lost hope and often feel “helpless or hopeless”. Our mission is to break this cycle and help those with substance use disorder and their family members create a new life in a sober community. If you or a loved one plans to get started, you will need a referral from their primary care physician. Once that has been established, our team at Stairway Resource Center is happy to support your recovery by strengthening, rebuilding, and empowering those facing challenges with addiction through the community after completing detoxification.

Our substance use disorder treatment, such as our intensive outpatient program, support groups such as group counseling or family therapy, and behavioral health services, promotes a strong foundation for our clients and aids in relapse prevention.
